Do I really not need a CMS?
Correct. Your pages are Astro components and your blog is plain Markdown. Site-wide settings live in one typed config file. No database, no admin panel, no monthly bill.
Can my client edit content themselves?
Yes. Editing a blog post means changing a Markdown file; editing the menu, brand or socials means changing a few clearly-labelled lines in src/consts.ts. We include a CUSTOMIZE.md guide written for non-developers.
Is it really good for SEO?
Out of the box you get a sitemap, RSS feed, robots.txt, llms.txt, canonical URLs, semantic heading structure, Open Graph & Twitter cards, and JSON-LD structured data.
Will it work on mobile?
Every section is built mobile-first with fluid type and intrinsic layouts, and tested from 320px up to ultrawide. Animations respect prefers-reduced-motion.
Where can I host it?
